How to Save – H&M Wool-Blend Biker Jacket & 15% Off Your Purchase

I love H&M from fitted blazers to their edgy casual clothes and everything in-between. For the last two weeks I have been lusting over a black and gray wool moto jacket that I saw online for $59.99. I bit the bullet and  decided to stop by the newest H&M NYC location in Herald Square. To my surprise, I found the moto jacket in my size. Also to my surprise, it was marked down to $15.00. H&M is notorious for having different items on sale in the store and online. In addition to snagging the moto jacket for a clearance price of $15.00, I received 15% off of my purchased for partaking in H&M’s recycled textile program. At any given time you can bring a used garment of clothing (does not need to be from H&M) and donate it to H&M and score 15% off your total purchase. After receiving the 15% discount the total price of the moto jacket was $12.75 which is a tremendous savings as compared to the online price of $59.99.

Diesel Sample Sale

I stopped by Century21 in the Financial District for the Diesel Sample Sale on opening day. C21 is known to host private sample sales every 2-3 weeks and this sample sale was honoring discounts of 75% off original prices. The main attraction was women’s denim which was arranged on racks by sizes and prices began at $55.00. While I found many of the styles to be outdated with super low rise denim styles their were  plenty of styles and sizes to choose from. There are also a few racks of women’s dresses and jumpsuits and prices are beginning in the $75.00 range. There is also a rack of the Diesel Black and Gold collection but a few of the items look damaged. I found the sale to have very low  prices but I wasn’t impressed with any of the merchandise and left empty handed. The sale runs throughout Sunday afternoon and as such we should expect further reductions shortly.

Online Find: Saint Laurent Sunglasses

As I mentioned earlier, one of my all-time favorite e-commerce outlets is Saks Off Fifth. I regularly find great deals here and their offerings are always changing. Being a native New Yorker sunglasses are a must, whether you are wearing them to make a fashion statement or if you simply do not feel like wearing makeup to make a quick run out somewhere, I found theses beautiful Saint Laurent wayfarer sunglasses in black and silver. The listed price on Saks Off Fifth is $119.00 and I also used a promo code that I found on retailmenot.com and saved $20.00. This knocked the price down to $99.00 compared to the original price of $345.00! I love these sunglasses because they are a perfect size, are a durable weight and give off an effortless cool vibe. Hidden Gem: E.L.F Cosmetics (Financial District)

I love makeup. M.A.C., Dior, and Urban Decay are some of my go-to and favorite makeup brands. While I love them for many reasons, they can also be pricey at times. I call the Financial District of NYC home and I am lucky to have an E.L.F Cosmetics within walking distance, a place where I go for affordable cosmetic finds. The E.L.F Cosmetics located at 139 Fulton Street is a relatively small store but is well-stocked with a variety of products and an added bonus is that it is always very clean and organized. The store allows customers to sample products before they purchase them. E.L.F, which stands for eyes, lips, and face, caters to all of these makeup needs while also carrying nail polishes, makeup brushes, and makeup bags. With prices starting at just $1.00 it is hard to leave the store empty handed. My all time favorite E.L.F. product is their “Red Carpet” lip stain, which is only $3.00 and lasts all day without smudging.
